About Eirly Health
Eirly Health connects labs, practitioners, health brands, and their clients through one platform.
Eirly Health is an Australian health technology company building the diagnostic infrastructure layer. The platform replaces the fragmented, manual processes that sit between ordering a health test and delivering the result, so practitioners can practise, healthtechs can build, and clients can access their health data.

Why Eirly Health exists
The sister story
In 2023 Thor’s sister Sofia was that person
A system built to reach everyone the same way cannot see the one person in front of it.
She was diagnosed with colon cancer at 36, the cancer that had taken their grandfather. The diagnosis was not the hardest part. The decade before it was. Sofia had lived with pain for close to ten years, and she did everything you are meant to do. She saw doctors. She asked questions. They took her seriously. But ten years of symptoms, visits and results sat scattered across different doctors and different clinics, and nobody was ever holding the whole of it. Every appointment started closer to the beginning than it should have.
None of that was carelessness. The system was working as designed. That is the problem. Thor and Ben started Bloody Good Tests so that nobody else would be hurried past, left carrying their own history between clinics, or kept in the dark about their own health.
The problem
Australia's diagnostic infrastructure was built for a different era. Connecting to one lab takes months. Connecting to all of them is a full-time infrastructure problem. Eirly Health rebuilds it from the ground up: one platform connecting every lab, every practitioner, every result.
Why we built this
Preventative health is growing globally.
The infrastructure underneath it hasn't kept up.
Consumers are shifting from passive patient to active participant. Health companies are building products that need testing underneath them. Practitioners want access to better diagnostics without the operational overhead.
But Australia's pathology industry was built for Medicare, not modern health products. Getting access requires months of contract negotiations, bespoke lab integrations, and medical governance overhead. Once live, the maintenance never stops. Inconsistent data formats, shifting reference ranges, manual intervention on exceptions.
Eirly Health solves this at the infrastructure level. One platform that connects every step between ordering a test and delivering the result.
Our journey
From Bloody Good Tests to the diagnostic infrastructure layer.
Founded
Founded as Bloody Good Tests, a direct-to-consumer blood testing platform.
Launched across Australia
Scaled the collection network. Onboarded the first practitioners. Launched the API.
Became Eirly Health
The infrastructure platform became the product. Rebranded. Health tech integrations live.
Scaling the infrastructure layer
Platform powering practitioners, clinics, healthtechs, consumer health products and clinical research. Expanding beyond pathology.
The platform
What we've built to make this work.
Connecting to one Australian lab takes months. Connecting to all of them (and normalising the data, automating the workflows, and keeping referrals and result handling consistent across every integration) is a full-time infrastructure problem. That's what Eirly Health is.
Data normalisation
Every lab sends data differently. Eirly Health transforms messy HL7 into clean, structured output, mapped to 300+ standard biomarkers using LOINC codes and each lab’s own codes.
Workflow orchestration
The chain from order to referral to collection to result to delivery, automated and tracked end to end.
Built-in guardrails
Referral validation, access controls, and audit trails built into the platform. Clinical decisions stay with the practitioner.

What we believe
Principles.
The beliefs that shape what we build and how we build it.
Health testing should be connected, not siloed.
Labs, practitioners, healthtechs, clients: every participant in a health test should work through a single system. Not five disconnected ones.
The infrastructure layer should be invisible.
Practitioners should order tests and receive results. Healthtechs should integrate once and ship product. Neither should have to think about HL7 parsing or referral compliance.
Compliance and good design belong together.
Clear clinical responsibility, privacy, and regulatory care are not obstacles to a good product. They're part of one.
Build on the infrastructure layer for health.
Whether you're a practitioner, a healthtech, or a lab, Eirly Health connects you to the rest.
